You know what, Richie?
What you have done is a valuable treasure of knowledge gathered through the years of work and effort.
I have been doing something like your work, although I am a surgeon and I play, teach and conduct the orchestra just as a cultural activity, but that makes me admire your work and your good feelings sharing your experience with learning musicians. This is something that not a lot of people would do.
Congratulations and thanks again for your contribution to the teaching/learning process of classical music in the world.
Remeber that in Los Cabos Mexico you have an ally and a bunch of friends. This is your home and your orchestra any time.

I wanted to tell you how much I enjoyed your recital a few weeks ago in Seattle. It was phenomenal. It was music I will remember for a long, long time. What a gift it is to listen to you play! It is unfortunate that the community at large didn't come out to hear you play. They really missed the chance of a lifetime. Sadly, I was unable to attend the clarinet workshops due to my own work schedule, but am so very thankful I got to hear you play live. I can't thank you enough for performing that Saturday evening. It was just brilliant!

Dear Richie,

As a trained clarinetist, I want to thank you for the joy that you have brought to our city. It has been such a privilege to hear you perform with the CSO and at CCM during your tenure here. It saddens me that you are leaving the CSO, but I wish you well.

Dear Richie,

Your performance of Nielsen's 5th is absolutely fantastic. I am sending it to all my students and asking them to emulate your sound, legato control, and style. But somehow the totality of it is even better than the sum of its
parts! Congratulations!

Beautiful website, and, yes, I too loved the rehearsal etiquette guidelines.

I am not a musician, but have been delighted to know you through the CSO and CONCERT:nova.

Rice and Houston are lucky!!

Come back often, please!

I have to say, the recordings that you have on your website under "media room" are simply fantastic! But of all of them, by far my favorite is the Mozart Concerto. I think it has to be the best Mozart Concerto ever recorded! I hope you'll put up more of it!

Hello from Kansas! I'm a junior in high school and am applying to Rice for college. I've only been playing clarinet for a few years, but I'm improving more every day. Your passion for music is truly inspirational. Congratulations on your appointment to Rice, maybe I'll be studying under you in the near future.

I really admire your ability and attitude towards music. I hope I get to study with you someday. Opportunities can be scarce where I live sometimes, but after hearing you play, I feel more motivated than left out. Thanks for putting some excerpts up. They're amazing!
